A pomegranate, the emblem of Side, also appears on the reverse. Preserved as a wearable artifact, the ancient silver coin is mounted in a later 18K yellow gold bezel. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e Athena was among the most important deities of the Greek world, associated with wisdom, warfare and the protection of cities. According to mythology, she sprang fully armed from the head of Zeus, and Athens' great Parthenon was dedicated to her.
