This Art Deco-era brooch showcases 4.25 carats of rare blue Yogo sapphires. These gems are certified by the Gemological Institute of America as originating in the United States at the famed mines of Yogo Gulch, Montana. Sapphires from these famed origins display a vivid cornflower blue hue that is unlike sapphires from anywhere else in the world. Upon their discovery in the 1880s, famed Tiffany & Co. gemologist George Kunz described these sapphires as “the finest precious gemstones ever found in America.” These brilliant sapphires are set in timeless 14K yellow gold and are accented by Old European brilliant diamonds.
