This elegant 18K yellow gold brooch by famed jewelry designer Henry Dunay takes the shape of a bonsai tree. The brooch incorporates Dunay's signature texturizing technique "Sabi" inspired by the Japanese aesthetic “wabi-sabi” which celebrates the asymmetry and simplicity of nature. This technique results in a finely etched surface that mimics the bark of the bonsai. The tree appears to sprout from a beautiful 20.50mm Baroque South Sea Pearl, and diamonds totaling approximately 1.00 carats accent the organic design.
