Corum Admiral’s Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon Watch

This outstanding watch by Corum, the renowned Swiss watch manufactory, hails from their exclusive Admiral collection. Released in 2010 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of this legendary collection, this Admiral’s Cup sports watch features two highly desirable complications: a tourbillon and minute repeater, which is activated by a twist of the entire bezel. Corum specializes in small numbers of incredibly high-quality watches, and this particular design, which took two years to develop and over 160 man-hours to craft, was created in a limited edition of only 15.

This watch’s sought-after movement is held in a sleek, 12-sided grade 5 titanium case that tells the time with nautical pennants as hour markers. It features three sapphire crystals, including a smoked sapphire dial that allows a view of the interior movement. A student and designer for Gucci watchmakers, Severin Wunderman founded Corum in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1955, and today his son Michael carries on the tradition of making quality timepieces with a daring edge. This watch is finished by a black alligator leather strap, and it is accompanied by its original box and papers.
