An exquisite antique bracelet with remarkable historical significance, this Edwardian work of jeweled art was worn by a British suffragette to show her support for the movement. The official colors of the Women's Social and Political Union (WSPU) were green, white and violet, representing the words "give," "women," "votes." In this bracelet, the colors are represented by peridots, amethysts and pearls all set in a 9K yellow gold link chain complete with a lock charm. Wearing the colors of the movement was the primary way of displaying support, but elegant pieces of suffragette jewelry were a rare show of solidarity, making this bracelet both beautiful and deeply symbolic.
