Stately and versatile, this exceptional and rare Regency period pedestal dining table measures over 30 feet in length when fully extended. Locking in place with the help of brass joiners, seven pedestal tables and six removable leaves provide seating for as many as 32 guests. When separated, each pedestal is designed to serve as a single table, perfect for a range of use and room layouts.

The table's functionality is made possible thanks to its superb craftsmanship and proportional design. Each piece is crafted of solid mahogany that displays uniformity in the depth and color of its veneer. As indicated by its consistent grain, the wood was almost certainly taken from a single tree.

The rectangular top is perfectly flat, which, in addition to the original honey-toned wax polish finish, makes the surface highly reflective. The brass hardware is all hand-made, from the solid brass casters and pedestal caps, to the loper finials and leaf latches. Exceptionally grand in both form and function, this commanding table hearkens to a time when dining was truly a luxurious event.
