This monumental English silverplate fountain is an exceptionally rare example of a fountain specifically designed for use inside the home. Modeled as an athénienne, the fountain is crafted in the Beaux-Arts style with an elaborate triple terminal of trumpet blowing Nereids, or sea nymphs. The basin has a gilded interior, adding to the fountain's opulent appearance, while column legs and a marble base lend it further grandeur. Over 100 years old, this fountain is in full working order with the ability to spew water upwards from the base, down from the terminal or both simultaneously. While it can still be used as a banquet fountain, it is equally as lovely when displayed as a water fountain in the home.
