This intriguing 19th-century French pistol cane is crafted of a fine Malacca shaft and topped by an antler handle. Designed to be completely inconspicuous, the cane has a concealed trigger in the handle and a 7.5mm breech-loading chamber hidden in the shaft. Simply twist the handle and pull back to expose the chamber. These types of canes were extremely popular in their heyday in the mid-19th century, and continue to fascinate collectors today because of their novel ingenuity.
