A fine pair of George III-era mahogany hall chairs of exceptional craftsmanship and condition. Each masterfully carved seat is constructed with a rectangular back adorned with a lozenge panel between reeded columns. The solid seats are accentuated by fluted friezes and supported on four elegant legs united by turned cross-over stretchers. The front legs are turned and reeded, while the rear legs display an elegant saber curve.
