Joe DiMaggio's $10 Gold Coin Presentation Watch

From the personal collection of baseball Hall of Famer Joe DiMaggio comes this presentation watch was given to the sports legend by Harrah's Casino in 1967 in celebration of his 50th birthday. Incorporating a rare 1912 U.S. $10 gold coin, the watch is crafted of 18K gold and punctuated by a fine leather band. The interior of the watch bears two interior inscriptions: "Happy 50 / to Joe / from Harrahs" and "Happy / 50th / JOE / Harrahs". Created by the Swiss watchmaking firm of Sylvan Kocher & Cie. under their Eska brand, this quality timepiece stands as a fantastic, one-one-of-a-kind piece of American sports memorabilia.
