Johnnie Walker Lawn Bowling Measuring Cane

This cane would have been used to measure distance and assist in scoring a traditional lawn bowling game. The game is played with asymmetrical balls known as "bowls," with the objective being to roll them along the lawn and get them as close to the "jack," or smaller bowl, as possible. This cane would be used to measure distance when judging by sight alone was too difficult. Its gold-colored topper contains the measuring device and is decorated with Johnnie Walker Whiskey's striding man logo.
