The art of writing reaches epic heights with this exquisite, limited edition Montblanc fountain pen. This rare and stunning instrument represents Autumn in the renowned firm's exclusive Four Seasons collection, and is one of only a handful in the world. Crafted of 18K yellow gold and accented with a .07-carat, Top Wesselton VVS-clarity diamond drop, it is adorned with an intricate vine motif which wraps around the pen and sparkles with .57 carats of brown diamonds and .13 carats of cognac diamonds. This masterfully crafted pen is also a joy to use. To write, unscrew the top and attach to the bottom with a twist. Further twisting elevates the engraved pen nib from its protected position in the shaft. The Montblanc emblem fashioned of mother-of-pearl completes this amazing design. This marvelous creation is accompanied by its signed certificate of authenticity and serial number, and is housed in its original suede-line and fitted lacquer case.

Brass plaques are inscribed "Montblanc Ateliers Privés" and "Montblanc Four Seasons/ Autumn/ Limited Edition."

Often called "writing jewels," Montblanc pens are considered by many to be the finest in the world, both aesthetically and in terms of performance. Founded by stationer Claus-Johannes Voss, banker Alfred Nehemias and engineer August Eberstein in 1908, the company produced its first model, the Rouge Et Noir, in 1909, followed by the Montblanc in 1910, the pen that was later to give the company its new name. The company's iconic star-shaped emblem actually represents the snowcapped Montblanc mountain. Its first fountain pen, the Meisterstück, or “Masterpiece,” was produced in 1924. The Four Seasons collection was created to commemorate the launching of the three one-of-the kind boutiques in the world, in New York, Paris and Hong Kong, and is one of which many, including collectors and Montblanc insiders, were not even aware.
