A phenomenal 22.81-carat oval-cut Paraiba tourmaline makes a monumental statement in this ring. First discovered in 1989, the Paraiba tourmaline is one of the world’s rarest and most vibrant gemstones. Considered even rarer than diamonds, these extraordinary stones have only been found in the copper-rich mines of Brazil, Nigeria and Mozambique. To put their rarity into perspective, only one Paraiba tourmaline is mined for every 10,000 diamonds. It is thanks to their rare chemical composition that these gems owe their spectacular coloring and neon-bright glow that appears to light the stone from within. To find a Paraiba tourmaline of this phenomenal size and color is extraordinarily rare.

A superb pair of trillion-cut mandarin garnets weighing approximately 5.38 carats accentuates the incredible tourmaline. The fiery orange of the garnet provides an eye-catching contrast to the cool blue-green of the central Paraiba, and an understated platinum setting allows all three bold stones to shine brilliantly. This gorgeous ring showcases one of nature's rarest treasures in all its breathtaking splendor.
