This charming floral vase by master Art Deco decorative artist Camille Fauré possesses both a visual and tactile beauty achieved through Fauré's signature enameling technique. Starting with a copper vase form covered in silver leaf, layers of colorful enamels are hand-applied and "built up" across the surface to create a unique raised texture. The enamels' translucency varies, allowing the luminous copper and silver leaf to shine through. Today, Fauré's works can be found in museum collections around the world, including The Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Corning Museum of Glass in New York.
