A 1708 British half crown from the reign of Queen Anne is inset into the bowl of this sterling silver punch ladle. The head of the coin, featuring the profile of the queen and the inscription “ANNA DEI GRATIA,” is visible in the interior of the bowl, while tails is visible on the exterior. The ladle is further adorned by intricate etchings, including a star and floral motif that can be seen on both the inside and out. A beautiful twisted handle completes the charming design.
