Swiss Jump Hour Watch

This manual wind, jump hour Swiss watch displays the time on three rotating silvered dials through windows that only reveal the current hour, minute and second. Jump hour watches, although mechanical, were an early version of the digital watch, and they quickly gained popularity during the first half of the 1930s. This example features a sleek Art Deco design that is exemplary of the period, with a brushed nickel chrome case, stepped-out sides and graphic, stylized Arabic numerals. An alligator leather strap completes the design.
