This magnificent covered sterling silver entrée dish by Tiffany & Co. is crafted in the iconic Chrysanthemum pattern, one of the best-loved and most desirable ever created by this renowned firm. Gloriously chased with intricately worked namesake flowers, this incredible server embodies the elegance and exuberant beauty of this enduring motif. Oversized pieces of Chrysanthemum are also extremely hard to find. One of the most expensive Tiffany patterns to produce, it found particular favor with socialites and new brides. 

Marked "Tiffany & Co." with the initial "M" dating this piece to the directorship of Edward C. Moore, 1869-1891
