This magnificent sterling silver vegetable serving dish with cover by Tiffany & Co. is crafted in the iconic Chrysanthemum pattern, arguably the most desirable and definitely one of the most expensive created by this renowned American firm. Gloriously chased with intricately worked blooms, this incredible serving piece embodies the elegance and exuberant beauty of this enduring motif. Large examples of Chrysanthemum are difficult to find and this pattern is known to have been a favorite of socialites and new brides at the turn of the 20th century. 

This vegetable server is engraved with full Tiffany & Co. silver marks and the initial "M" for Edward C. Moore, dating this piece between 1869-1891.
