This magnificent English partner's desk flawlessly blends masterful design with excellent craftsmanship. The massive rosewood desk was designed for dual use, and each side is identical with three frieze drawers and six pedestal drawers for ample storage. Gold-accented leather provides a luxurious writing surface, while two hidden writing desks extend from each side. Meant to stand in the middle of an office or library, partner's desks in such incredible condition transform the act of doing business into an art form.

Partner's desks, along with kneehole writing desks and library desks, were first built in the United Kingdom, emerging alongside the growth of education and commerce throughout the country. These desks were not only built to accommodate large volumes, but also to maximize confidentiality, and thus were a favorite of banking partners, who wished to work in tandem while keeping the convenience and prestige of a pedestal desk. To find a partner’s desk of this superior design, quality, and condition is a true rarity.
