This sensational Wedgwood tricolor jasperware vase is truly a work of art. The exceptional and ornate vessel characterizes the Neoclassical Revival of the Georgian period. The gently flared design boasts lions’ head masks atop pilaster columns, lion’s paw feet, Wedgwood’s signature classical medallions, floral swags and ivy-and-ribbon border, all arranged in a symphony of ivory, lilac and green. A marvelous example of Wedgwood’s iconic artistry, this vase is in excellent condition.

Two very similar vases are featured on page 264 of Wedgwood Jasper (1994 ed.) by Robin Reilly.
