This rare and exquisite brooch by the legendary House of Fabergé is a testament to the firm's renowned artistry and craftsmanship. The design centers on a 2.85-carat rose cut diamond, elegantly framed by scrolling metalwork in 14K rose gold and silver. The intricate setting sparkles with accent diamonds totaling 2.50 carats, creating a dazzling display of light and texture. Marked for the St. Petersburg workshop before 1899, this brooch embodies the opulence and refinement synonymous with Fabergé's creations.

Founded in 1842 by Gustav Fabergé, the House of Fabergé rose to global prominence under the leadership of his son, Peter Carl Fabergé. Revered for its exquisite craftsmanship, the firm became the official jeweler to the Romanov Imperial family and created some of history’s most iconic decorative objects, including the celebrated Imperial Easter eggs. With the fall of the Romanov dynasty in 1917 and the Russian Revolution, many Fabergé treasures were lost, making surviving examples like this brooch highly sought after by collectors and connoisseurs of fine jewelry.
