Acquiring antiques from the M.S. Rau online catalog could not be easier. When you see an item of interest, simply complete the order form with your shipping and payment information. Your order will be confirmed by email, and one of our sales consultants will contact you.

You may also place your order by telephone. M.S. Rau can ship your purchase, no matter how large or small, safely and expeditiously to almost any destination in the world.

2. Pricing and Availability

Each item featured in the M.S. Rau online catalog is unique and can be sold only once. When you see something of interest, we encourage you to place your order or contact us promptly to avoid disappointment.

M.S. Rau carries an exceptional variety of fine art, antiques and jewelry, and many of the items featured in our online catalog sell very quickly. Please call or email us with any questions.

M.S. Rau makes every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information on our website, but occasional errors may occur. M.S. Rau reserves the right to correct any factual or pricing error on the website before or after a transaction has been made.

If a pricing error is discovered after an online transaction, the customer will be notified before the order is processed and before the credit card is charged.

All items shown on the website are subject to prior sale. Because our pieces are one of a kind and are offered both online and in our gallery, an item shown on the website may already have been sold. We work diligently to avoid this. If an item you purchased is no longer available, we will notify you as quickly as possible, and your credit card will not be charged.

M.S. Rau uses encryption technology designed to protect your credit card information and does not release that information to anyone outside the company except as necessary to process your transaction.

If you prefer not to transmit your credit card information over the internet, complete the order form without entering the card number and call us to provide your payment information.

You may pay for your online acquisitions in several ways:

Bank Wire Transfer

Your M.S. Rau sales consultant can assist you with arrangements to pay for your order by bank transfer.

Credit Card Hold

We may hold your purchase with a credit card deposit until the remaining balance is paid by check or credit card. Arrangements must be made with your sales consultant.

Check or Money Order

Orders paid by check will be held until the check clears your bank. Please make checks and money orders payable to M.S. Rau and include your order number.

5. Shipping Information

M.S. Rau can ship items safely, expeditiously and fully insured to destinations throughout the world. Our packages are professionally packed on site by M.S. Rau employees trained in handling delicate and precious objects.

Shipping fees vary according to the value and size of the item and the method of transportation. Many items in the online catalog display shipping costs. For items whose shipping costs depend on the destination, your sales consultant can provide a quote.

All shipping costs will be confirmed in the order-confirmation email you receive by the next business day.

M.S. Rau ships through UPS and insured private carriers. Delivery of large items, such as antique bars or armoires, includes complete setup in your home. Special options, including overnight delivery or specialized freight, may be available for an additional charge. Please contact your sales consultant to arrange special delivery.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Because of the unique nature of every item we sell, we make every effort to ensure that you understand exactly what you are purchasing.

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in identical condition for a full store credit, less shipping costs, to be applied toward another item in our gallery or online catalog at its marked retail price. Store credits cannot be transferred or assigned.

Certain items may be sent on an approval basis when you are unable to view them in person at our gallery. An approved item may be returned within three business days, in the exact condition in which it was shipped, for a full refund.

M.S. Rau can ship your order safely and expeditiously to almost anywhere in the world. To process an international order, please contact one of our sales consultants for assistance with your acquisition, payment and shipping arrangements.

Shipping prices listed on the website apply to the continental United States only. Your sales consultant can provide an international shipping quote.
