Made by the legendary René Lalique, this art glass vase, crafted of opalescent and blue stained glass, celebrates nature. The design, created in 1920 and known as the Plumes vase, is enveloped in expertly etched intertwining feathers against a blue backdrop.  This vessel highlights Lalique's love of the bold forms and natural motifs that typified his output.

One of the most celebrated sculptors of the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, René Lalique is not only known for his pioneering style of glassmaking, but also for designing some of the most enchanting jewelry of the age. His penchant for innovation and eye for style made him one of the premier craftsmen at the Paris Exhibition of 1925, and to this day collectors marvel at the grace and artistry of his creations the world over.
