The entirety of this important Neoclassical fixture is covered with a myriad of intricately cut glass lusters, all suspended from branches of hand-crafted ormolu. An elegant cobalt blue glass central bowl completes this engaging work of illuminated art. Objects that were thought to represent wealth were forbidden by the Communist regime that took over Russia, and countless rarities were destroyed in the process. It is extraordinary. . .
