A unique testament to Louis Comfort Tiffany’s dedication to craftsmanship and design, this rare necklace is anchored by a beautiful convertible pendant with a stunning 14.54-carat yellow Ceylon sapphire . The gem's accompanying GIA report verifies its renowned origin and lack of heat treatment, meaning its exquisite hue is entirely natural. A line of three graduated diamonds accents each corner, with delicate milgrain filigree filling the gaps between each line. The matching chain features 30 diamonds interspersed between the links. When the chain is detached, a pin clasp allows the pendant to be worn as a brooch. Set in platinum and yellow gold.

This exquisite pendant is accompanied by a letter from the International Antique Jewelers Association and is attributed to the tenure of Meta K. Overbeck, the legendary Head Designer of the Art Jewelry Department at Tiffany & Co. Overbeck was instrumental in interpreting Louis Comfort Tiffany's vision, producing unique creations that celebrated his love of nature and color. Versatile designs like this exemplify the department's dedication to artistry and craftsmanship during her leadership from 1914 until Tiffany’s death in 1933.

Best remembered for his stained glass windows and lamps, along with his Favrile glass, Louis Comfort Tiffany began creating jewelry in 1902. The jewelry he designed for Tiffany & Co. mirrors many of the Art Nouveau aesthetics he perfected in prior years. Surviving Tiffany jewels of this beauty, rarity and originality are exceedingly scarce, making this necklace a remarkable opportunity to own one of the most lyrical expressions of his artistic vision.
