This silver trophy plate was presented to Personality, winner of the 1970 Jim Dandy Stakes at the Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs, New York. Crafted by Ensko of New York, this superb sterling salver exhibits an octagonal shape with a recessed, inscribed center. Thanks in part to his win at the Jim Dandy Stakes, Personality, owned by Ethel Jacobs, was named American Horse of the Year in 1970.
