This limited edition tankard celebrates the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth on May 12, 1937. Crafted of engraved glass, it is covered in symbols of the monarchy, including the King's initials surmounted by a crown, oak branches, thistles and roses. One side of the vessel is engraved and inscribed with a spider's web and the names of the Stuart Kings (the historic Kings of Scotland), while a commemorative silver coin bearing George VI's monogram is enclosed in the base of the tankard. Overall, it is a lovely tribute to one of the most important coronations in the history of the British Empire.
