René Lalique remains one of the most influential figures of the Art Deco movement. Initially renowned as a jeweler, he transformed decorative glass through innovative molding techniques and a refined modern aesthetic rooted in nature. His work, prominently featured at the 1925 Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes in Paris, secured his legacy as one of the defining designers of the twentieth century. His glass creations continue to be admired by collectors and institutions worldwide.
