Rolex's most complicated current-production watch, the Sky-Dweller combines an annual calendar and dual-time display with a bold 18K yellow gold design. Its bright black dial is arranged around an off-center 24-hour disc that tracks home time while conventional hands display local time. Twelve discreet apertures around the dial indicate the month in red, while a Cyclops lens magnifies the date at 3 o'clock. The fluted yellow gold bezel also serves as the Ring Command interface, allowing the wearer to select and set the calendar, local time and home time through the winding crown.
Introduced in 2012, the Sky-Dweller debuted Rolex's patented Saros annual calendar, which automatically distinguishes 30- and 31-day months and requires adjustment only once each year, on March 1. The self-winding Calibre 9002 provides approximately 72 hours of power reserve and drives the calendar and dual-time functions. Rolex's Oysterflex bracelet combines flexible metal blades with black elastomer and an 18K yellow gold Oysterclasp equipped with the Glidelock extension system. The watch is accompanied by its original Rolex box, warranty card and booklet.
