Cartier’s Vendôme becomes fine jewelry in this diamond-set 18K yellow gold wristwatch. Brilliant cut diamonds trace the round bezel and continue across the articulated bracelet, appearing on the openwork links and rounded gold motifs, with larger stones positioned above and below the case. The sculptural links create a fluid transition from the circular case to the bracelet.

An ivory-hued dial provides a restrained counterpoint to the elaborate goldwork. Black Roman numerals and blued-steel sword-shaped hands establish Cartier’s unmistakable visual vocabulary, while a diamond-set beaded crown adds a final point of brilliance. Complete with its original box.

Introduced in 1973 as part of the Louis Cartier collection, the Vendôme is distinguished by its round case and pronounced horizontal attachments. This circa 1980s example carries that design into a fully integrated jewelry watch powered by a quartz movement.
