Its 42mm case is crafted entirely of 18K yellow gold and crowned by Rolex’s signature fluted bezel. The vivid green dial presents luminous baton hour markers, central hands and an off-center 24-hour disc that displays a second time zone. A Cyclops lens magnifies the date at 3 o’clock, while 12 apertures around the dial indicate the current month.
The innovative Saros annual calendar automatically distinguishes between 30- and 31-day months, requiring only one manual correction each year at the beginning of March. Rolex’s ingenious Ring Command system connects the bidirectional bezel, winding crown and movement, allowing the wearer to select and adjust the watch’s principal functions. The self-winding Caliber 9002 offers an approximately 72-hour power reserve.
